Learning Objective: Participants will understand the contagious nature of violence and learn about ecosystemic approaches to deradicalization.
Summary: This session will overview the combined approaches of Cure Violence Global (CVG) and Parallel Networks (PN) as they are being applied to the context of targeted violence and radicalization in the Pacific Northwest. CVG employs a public health approach to preventing violence while PN applies an ecosystemic approach to countering the radicalization process.
