Course Description:

How did the U.S. end up with a president in the 21st century who mirrors the rhetoric of white supremacist groups? From chattel slavery and Chinese exclusion laws to the current dismantling of DEI programs, racism has been a key feature of the American story. This four week webinar explores the personal and structural roots of racism, and, more importantly, how we can actively dismantle white supremacy in our institutions and ourselves,

Dr. Randall Blazak is a leading scholar in the field of hate studies who conducted field research of white supremacist groups and entered America’s prisons to study racist prison gangs. He is the chair of Oregon’s Coalition Against Hate Crimes.
